In 2021, I had the chance to experience the George Wallace Tunnel, an impressive structure that runs under the Mobile Bay in Alabama. This crucial part of the Interstate 10 continues to serve as a vital artery for transportation, linking the eastern and western parts of the country. This year, despite the increased traffic volumes, the tunnel has efficiently managed to maintain smooth operations. I was particularly struck by its engineering marvel, considering it was built back in the 1970s. It's definitely a testament to Alabama's infrastructure prowess.
